This subheadline from @AMPatkin's story about the new Boston Boundless Trail is probably my favorite subheadline for any Walking City Trails story:
“You can’t really step off the trail if you’re hiking Mount Katahdin and have some really good empanadas.”

You can now pass through TSA PreCheck at Logan using only your face. Should that make us nervous?
To some electronic privacy and civil liberties advocates, TSA’s facial recognition expansion comes as more of a dystopian omen than a cutting-edge marvel. ⬇️

Today I was at Village Vinyl in Brookline when a bunch of cops walked in. I asked what happened. Turns out last night, a drunk man wedged the door open, took a single record, left enough cash to cover half the price, then wrote this note.
At least he tried I guess?
Judge Beverly Cannone declared a mistrial in the #KarenReadTrial Monday after jurors failed to reach a consensus, leaving Read's fate undecided.
Prosecutors say they plan to retry the case. We'll see if a second jury fares any better.
