Itβs impossible to watch this without tears. The EU Parliament delegation, currently visiting Georgia, met with protesters at Rustaveli Avenue in central Tbilisi, where people have been demonstrating for over two weeks. Despite enduring inhumane treatment, unlawful arrests, abductions, physical violence from government-linked thugs, and brutal dispersals including the use of tear gas, pepper spray, and water cannons, the Georgian people persist in unity, demanding the countryβs return to the EU path, refusing to fall into russiaβs sphere of influence.
The MEPs were warmly welcomed by protesters, who sang the EU anthem and chanted "Sanctions!" upon their arrival, underscoring that this is the only language Ivanishvili Inc. understands.
Thank you, dear friends of Georgia, for standing with usβyour physical presence means the world.
