It’s impossible to watch this without tears. The EU Parliament delegation, currently visiting Georgia, met with protesters at Rustaveli Avenue in central Tbilisi, where people have been demonstrating for over two weeks. Despite enduring inhumane treatment, unlawful arrests, abductions, physical violence from government-linked thugs, and brutal dispersals including the use of tear gas, pepper spray, and water cannons, the Georgian people persist in unity, demanding the country’s return to the EU path, refusing to fall into russia’s sphere of influence. The MEPs were warmly welcomed by protesters, who sang the EU anthem and chanted "Sanctions!" upon their arrival, underscoring that this is the only language Ivanishvili Inc. understands. Thank you, dear friends of Georgia, for standing with usβ€”your physical presence means the world. @RJukneviciene @RLanschot @NathalieLoiseau @MichalSzczerba @guetta_en @SLagodinsky Tobias Cremer Video reporting: @RTavisupleba

I think my thesis needs a new, updated epilogue because the family of 3 children being the "norm" is sounding awfully familiar....

I have finally started #ColdKitchen by @edentravels. It was easy to lose myself in the wonderfully written reminiscing and memories of travelling to some of my favourite places in the world (paired with delicious looking recipes) while drinking Georgian amber wine. A must read!

Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of knowing what "average" Soviet wages were? I know that they varied on what profession was held, but a breakdown of that could/would also be useful. Thank you!

Hello! I'm making some revisions to an article and came across (what I think) is an interesting comment a reviewer made. They want me to distinguish fonds between GARF 1 and GARF 2 from the archives. Has anyone come across this before?
