When asked how good am I at chess, I typically simply say I’m OK. What do you think I played for Black ? The post game analysis gives a hint to what I saw. One of the 7 “Tactical Motifs” that I highlight when teaching Chess.

She probably makes more than us all. Maybe I should start bitching and complaining more. But it doesn’t seem to be helping him bitching and complaining about her bitching and complaining. Doesn’t seem to help me bitching and complaining about his bitching and complaining. 🤷🏾‍♂️ 🤦🏾‍♂️
She could stop bitching and complaining like he said lol 😂 maybe that would work.

Let me fix this for you!! “Caitlin Clark has become the most unlikable player in all of Basketball for a minority (pun intended) portion of Blacks who resent a White girl who brought billions of dollars to a money losing, irrelevant business model.” That is certainly true now. She is beloved by most true sports fans who are glad to see the transformation she has brought to women’s sports. I concede she complains more than I would like to see but no more than the typical player. She also turns over the ball more than I would like but at a clip approaching efficiency (2:1 assist to turnover) in my Modern Player Efficiency Model. I was at the Fever game the other night. From all objective standards she is more popular than ever. You pick the standard other than “your opinion”. Jersey sales, endorsement dollars. All-Star voting. Shoe sales. Apparently villainy is popular. All these kids wearing Clark jerseys.
CAITLIN CLARK HAS BECOME THE MOST UNLIKEABLE PLAYER IN ALL OF BASKETBALL! "I recognize that Caitlin Clark is a lot of people's hero, but Caitlin Clark is also a villain! The most unlikeable player in basketball! All she does is whine to the refs and complain!" — Tyrone Johnson @TyJohnsonNews #WNBA #CaitlinClark #Basketball

There are several who could add 6 inches to her vert. She would have brought the house down with a slam dunk on this play!! 🤷🏾‍♂️

I booed her every time she touched the ball. There is tenacious defense and then there is thuggery. What some in the league tried to do to Caitlin Clark was thuggery. Endorsed by the League based upon the no calls. Hines-Allen had a fantastic albeit vicious clean block. Sheldon was dirty all that infamous game. instagram.com/reel/DLEMXZxRY…
Oh my baby Jesus. Just nasty 😮‍💨

I’m a basketball coach but also a Mathematician. In math, definition is everything. I learned long ago not to argue against undefined concepts. This post has 4. 1) What is a “bad shot”? A friend who coaches state, “that’s a bad shot!” When I asked why he stated “it just is!” To which I simply stated: “great coaches know how to define such things. How else can they teach a player to discern?” 2) Same as to what does it mean to “hunt her shot”? I might agree or disagree depending on how one defines “hunting”. Is it a good or bad thing? I can discuss the various ways the concept is used. Most who use it can’t define it. 3) “it ain’t falling” is clearly not what the person is communicating. I learned as a consultant how to draw out from a client what they mean/ or want. People are generally poor communicators. She likely means Clark is not shooting efficiently based upon HER EXPECTATIONS. Expectations is a seminar in itself. 4) “38% is bad” is technically a definition but “bad” itself is undefined. She apparently defines what “ain’t falling” means to her. 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾 But when is 38% good? Is it absolutely bad or just situationally? I personally think 38% shooting for most guards is good. For a post player it typically is not very good. About a third of WNBA players shoot under 40%. Is “bad” and “below average” synonymous? 🤷🏾‍♂️

She takes bad shots. She hunts her shot and it ain’t falling. 38% is bad.

I reject this “forget the play” narrative of my fellow Clark fans. All involved CLEARLY state the play was specifically drawn up by the ASSISTANT Coach Austin Kelly who has assisted for White for some time. But I am one of the fans who went out that week and bought a Cunningham jersey. I will be wearing it tonight as my wife and I take our 2 oldest Grandchildren to the game tonight!! When she took down Sheldon who was trying to punk Clark I “fell in love” with her as a player. Cunningham had a vicious screen and other bad ass plays (fouls) that same night. I have been a fan since. Not gonna lie! I then went to her Instagram and other social media accounts and became self-conscious: she tries to be a sex symbol. It’s just about basketball for me. She can wear and not wear what she wants. But I learned to embrace even her hotness. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I’ll try to get an autograph and selfie tonight!!
Sophie Cunningham may be at home right now plotting the next way she can defend Caitlin Clark. And honestly, who could blame her? The two biggest spikes in Sophie’s popularity came when she went full Caitlin Clark warrior. First, she put Jacy Sheldon in her place. Then she basically said, “Forget the play,” trusted Caitlin, and delivered the ball to the player who needed to take the winning shot. If I were Sophie, defending Caitlin Clark would be my new religion.

Stop it! I get their emails and promotions REGULARLY. They do an excellent job marketing ALL their players and their brand. Actually, don’t stop. I almost forgot even manufactured publicity is good for the WNBA. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾
The Indiana Fever have discovered Caitlin Clark is marketable. Apparently this happened sometime in the last 24 hours. She hits one game-winner and suddenly the account turns into a Caitlin Clark fan page. Which is great... except she has been the biggest draw in women’s basketball since the day she arrived. So why has this organization spent so much time acting like promoting her was something to apologize for? This sudden love-bombing is confusing. Welcome to reality, Fever.

Clark fans don’t care if she has “too many” turnovers when evaluating her greatness. We see her complete this pass and say: “Wow! Amazing.”

My answer was nothing. But your answer might prove my point. Joe Biden taking showers with minors might be construed as pedophile tendencies. I’m sure most Republicans would also over look such behavior. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I wear many hats 🧢 🎩 and have many mire hobbies/interests. But 3 years ago I suggested insurance design changes to tap into a predictable “new frontier” of public policy: taxation of wealth. I contend solutions popular in Oregon can be the model. Unfortunately, I’m too good at chess because to someone good at checkers could not see the value. 😳😉 But this is an excellent read and worth pondering the implications of taxing wealth. 🤷🏾‍♂️ 🤨 Taxing Tuesday: Steven Spielberg, New Yorker, by @meepbobeep open.substack.com/pub/marypa…

I just want to trust our election process. Unless we canvass the persons submitting mail-in ballots, we cannot verify elections. When Republicans or Democrats have cheated they use what I call substitutionary voting. A canvass of the voter has been the only process that uncovers the fraud. Telling me “it’s rare” is not convincing because it is also rarely investigated. Voter ID won’t catch substitutionary fraud. 🤷🏾‍♂️
California is not cheating in this election. Trump supporters are just too ignorant to understand how vote counting works. I explain it for all of you ignoramuses:
