Thank you for spending time with ANNA members!
No one understands the needs of kidney disease patients more clearly than the nurses caring for them every day. Great to reconvene with my partners from @ANNAnurses, including two of our own PA-01 advocates, Shelby Hisler of Doylestown and Kelly Oommen of Bensalem. We are taking their insights and priorities and turning them into action through initiatives I am championing to strengthen Title VIII nursing workforce programs, protect living donors, and expand access to kidney care—including the Living Donor Protection Act, the Living Donor FMLA Protection Act, and the Kidney Care Access Protection Act. Thank you to Shelby, Kelly, and the entire ANNA team for your partnership and expertise—and to all of our hero nurses who deliver skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across the nation every day.
