While politicians and activists demand more for illegal immigrants, New Yorkers are on the hook for BILLIONS in open-door spending buried in Governor Hochul’s FY 2027 budget and multi-year commitments.
Here’s where your tax dollars are going:
🔴 $4.3 BILLION – Emergency asylum seeker / migrant services (through 2027)
• Housing & shelter operations
• Food, transportation, case management
• Resettlement and support services
• Costs continue year over year
🔴 $72.4 MILLION (ANNUAL) – Immigration legal services (Office for New Americans)
• Deportation defense & legal aid
• No citizenship or legal status requirement
🔴 $4.5 BILLION – “Universal” child care expansion
• Pre-K, 3K, subsidies
• Publicly stated to welcome undocumented families
• No immigration status checks
🔴 $60 MILLION – New child care pilot programs
• Dutchess, Monroe, Broome Counties
• Part of the universal child care rollout
• Explicitly status-blind
🔴 $50 MILLION – Housing Access Voucher Program
• Rental assistance

Well done.
This is bigger than any single solar field or wind project.
It’s about whether the State of New York is bound by the same laws, environmental standards, and due process requirements it imposes on everyone else.
No matter where you stand on renewable energy, you should be concerned when Albany sidelines local communities, overrides land use, and treats environmental review as optional when it becomes politically inconvenient.
Transparency. Due process. Public participation. The rule of law.
Those aren’t obstacles to progress. They’re the foundation of public trust.
Well done Alex Fasulo, the Town of Glen, and everyone willing to stand up and demand accountability. If state government can ignore its own rules to achieve a preferred outcome, then those rules don’t mean much at all.
New Yorkers deserve an energy policy that can withstand scrutiny—not one that depends on avoiding it.
On Friday, June 12th, 2026, I, in my capacity as the president of the American Land Rescue Fund with the Town of Glen, New York, filed a lawsuit against the Office of Renewable Energy Siting over the legality of the RAPID Act implementing regulations.
This is now bigger than Fort Edward.
I promise that we are doing everything we can to spare every single town in New York State that has, against its will, been sited as a location for a solar or wind complex.
This lawsuit does just that.
The petition argues violations of SAPA rulemaking requirements, SEQRA environmental review requirements, procedural due process in the adoption process, and the validity of 16 NYCRR Parts 1100, 1101, and 1102 as adopted regulations.
This case is about transparency, public participation, environmental review, and the rule of law.
Without our home rule and the ability to call out our state government for overriding environmental regulations, we have no rule of law in New York State.
It's time to get our home rule back.
This is a 75-page monster of a petition that our genius attorney put together. It's bold, aggressive, and exactly what's needed if we stand a chance at taking these authoritarian agencies on in court.

When I first learned about what was to happen to the environment at Fort Edward Solar, I thought it was an isolated incident.
And then I started to travel to solar complexes. I started to talk to people. Towns started to email me. I learned that environmental devastation is commonplace at every single ORES wind and solar complex.
Rural New Yorkers had lost their ability to govern their towns statewide.
It’s all purposeful, the centralization of power. They don’t want us governing our resources without Albany’s input. So they created ORES.
And I created a nonprofit. This is bigger than Fort Edward.
This is a statewide lawsuit that attacks the RAPID Act regulations and concerns the transmission lines.
Albany took our home rule. It’s time to get it back.

It’s all part of a massive wealth-transfer scheme that funnels trillions of dollars into the so-called “green energy transition.” Taxpayer money flows to universities, unions, media organizations, and advocacy groups such as the League of Conservation Voters, NRDC, Oceantic, and the Sierra Club. Those organizations, in turn, help sustain politicians who promote and expand these policies.
At the end of the day, the public is left paying higher energy costs and higher taxes, while the climate-industrial complex continues to grow larger, more influential, and increasingly difficult to rein in.

🚨 Breaking and absolutely massive. The DEA just dropped numbers that should shake the entire country awake. Under President Trump, the lethality of fentanyl pills on the street has collapsed. Not dipped. Not slid. Collapsed.
Two years ago, 76 percent of these pills were strong enough to kill you on the spot. Today that number is down to 29 percent. The DEA literally called it jaw dropping. That’s what happens when a real president puts every lever of government on an all hands on deck mission to save American lives.
