امروز اپدیم در سخنرانی افتتاحیه سمپوزیوم «روز جهانی خاک» با موضوع «خاک سالم و مدیریت جامع حوزههای آبخیز شهری» بر ضرورت حفاظت از خاک، تقویت اطلاعات مربوط به ریسک مخاطرات چندگانه، و رسیدگی به چالشهایی مثل فرونشست زمین و طوفانهای گردوغبار از طریق مدیریت یکپارچه و علمی تاکید کرد.
