Great to see our APPG Chair @robertcourts supporting the sector and putting forward a question on #CommunityTransport in today's @CommonsTrans evidence session.
Thank you to @RobertCourts for raising #CommunityTransport in this morning's @CommonsTrans evidence session. It's vital that @transportgovuk protects community transport across the UK. It exists for people who struggle to access commercial services and is a lifeline for so many.

During the debate, Baroness @CharlotteV, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the DfT, committed to continue working with the sector and to review advice given to the Traffic Commissioners so that they don't unfairly discriminate against section 19 and 22 permit holders.

Last December we published our report on Mobility as a Service #MaaS. The @CTAUK1 have just published a briefing on what thought of our report, and the role they think #CommunityTransport can plan in MaaS.
We've written a briefing on the @CommonsTrans Mobility as a Service report and how it relates to #CommunityTransport. Take a look ⬇️ctauk.org/briefing-transport…

Great to see such passionate support for #CommunityTransport from MPs at #TransportQuestions this morning. During the debate @RobertCourts MP, Chair of the @APPGCT, asked: "when can we expect a full government response to the section 19 and 22 permits consultation?"

Great article in the @NewStatesman highlighting the vital role of #communitytransport in reducing loneliness and isolation, written by @robertcourts MP and Chair of our APPG.
Pleased to contribute to this week's New Statesman about community transport, and why transport technology must make sure it is inclusive and not leave vulnerable people behind. newstatesman.com/spotlight/t…
