Worked for 43 years as a Pharmacy Technician then pharmacist, in S10 & MHRA units, on wards & as Superintendent & Chief Pharmacist
I support supervision in aseptic facilities because I have witnessed how well the safe quality systems work including clinical checks by pharmacists

#pharmacytechnicians are more than capable of running an aseptic unit and managing QMS …. working alongside authorised pharmacists (as would still be required). Yet another disappointing but not surprising example of #professionalprotectionism
