ROTS, @thfcflags & @SpursSongSheet have been speaking to the club regularly on ways to improve the atmosphere. On Sunday, they will lower the volume of the music & play no music after the team sheets following feedback from many of us, allowing the fans to sing, also, ๐๐ฝ

I get the sentiments, but 60min "in play" still allows team to disuprt an opponent's rhythm.
But mainly, think how long Managers will take with subs, chatting to players when the ball is out. Deciding who takes a free kick etc.
60min football will take 2.5hours.

Simple cure to timewasting. Remove timekeeping responsibility from referee & each half consists of 30 minutes in play football. Timekeeper can signal to ref if keeper keeps ball >6 seconds. A few indirect free kicks in the box, esp if a goal results, will stop the cheating

Those who defend Glazers say they are business focussed rather than football. Even so, Manchester United have an overall loss before tax of ยฃ59m since the takeover, which puts them 26th in the PL table during that period. Pre-takeover the club was most profitable in the PL #MUFC
