On June 10, the second edition of the 2026 CFO Forum took place in São Paulo, bringing together senior finance executives from leading Brazilian companies and multinational corporations for a private, off-the-record discussion. The forum featured engaging conversations on Brazil’s economic outlook, the transformative impact of artificial intelligence, and how CFOs can prepare for and capitalize on a future in which AI agents play an increasingly prominent role in the workplace. Special thanks to our partners at @BankofAmerica, who opened their São Paulo offices for the event, to @Moodys for their continuous support, and to all speakers who participated.

COA was honored to host Argentina’s Secretary of Mining Dr. Luís Lucero (@secmineria_arg) and Argentine Ambassador to the U.S. Alec Oxenford (@alejandrito) for a private dinner in Washington on June 10. During the discussion, Secretary Lucero shared insights on the Milei Administration’s ongoing efforts to foster an attractive and reliable investment climate, and on the significant progress Argentina has already made. Participants discussed the strategic role of the mining sector—alongside energy and agriculture—as a key driver for Argentina's long-term economic growth, particularly under the framework of the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI). Thank you to Secretary Lucero, Ambassador Oxenford, and our members for engaging in this timely conversation.
