Maven central is a shared resource. Hosted thanks to the generosity of @sonatype (though we do have disaster recovery plans if they cannot continue to host)
Be responsible. Use a repository manager people. Especially if you’re in the 1% of top consumers.

What is shocking is that the top 1% of consumers are pulling 83% of the bandwidth and the number one consumer has a multi-trillion dollar turnover... and yet cannot pay to put a caching repository manager in front!

Does anyone have some Java code to post a tweet with up to 4 images that works with only the free tier API? The CLI tool I was using for @IrlCovidData has stopped working, similarly the Twitter 1.1 API code in the bot behind @ASFMavenRelease has stopped as I need to upgrade that to Twitter 2.0 API.
