On October 7, 2023, Hamas perpetrated an unprecedented and brutal terrorist attack against Israel that shocked the world and triggered an extraordinary wave of global responses, including some of the most visible and virulent expressions of antisemitism in recent memory. Two years later, scholars, policymakers, and communities continue to grapple with the complex and often volatile relationship between anti-Israel sentiment, anti-Zionism, and contemporary antisemitism.
This special issue of the Journal of Contemporary Antisemitism seeks original research and scholarly reflections that critically examine the social, political, ideological, and institutional implications of 10/7 and its aftermath.
