Important for Knee and Hip Health ⬇️
My Mom’s Strategy to Avoid Knee & Hip Replacements I started coaching her at age 64 and she is now 72. She does this as part of a well-rounded routine of short and simple workouts, and I post all the exercises on my page, with step-by-step progressions. Weak and stiff quads/knees and glutes/hips are the major strength and flexibility factors for knee and hip replacement. Pretty awesome that everyone can access possibly the single most smooth and effective exercise to help handle all those points! The mistake of “no knees over toes” prevented some of the best solutions from becoming common knowledge. Knee over toes = more pressure on knee, but long-term research now shows the truth: ABILITY with knee over toes = greater protection and longevity. This progression helps put you in control of these factors, at your level, without pain. 4 ATG Split Squat Skills For Life 1. I was a failed athlete 2. This helped rescue me to the point I got full ride college scholarships! 3. I was then told I could NOT do this because “no knees over toes” (a proven mistake) 4. I turned down full rides to help kids knee pain.

My back hurt during squats and I kept looking at my back. The problem was further down. Limited ankle and knee range meant my body could not distribute load through my lower chain properly. So it climbed upward and settled in my spine. The ATG Split Squat was the first movement that forced my knee and ankle to actually work through a full range under load. , Nordic work rebuilt the hamstring strength that was letting my whole posterior chain leak force. Fix the foundation, and the structure above it stops compensating.
