Many of those cases involved immigration-related offenses such as illegal entry, illegal reentry, alien smuggling, and immigration document fraud.Â
Much of the sentencing data also involve crimes such as murder, sex offenses, kidnapping, and drug traffickingâ all which couldâve been preventable had the illegal immigrants not been in the country in the first place.
