The violence is being perpetrated *by pro-Israel mobs* and *police.* It’s all on video. Look how New York Times describes it—trying to convey falsely that it is people protesting peacefully against genocide.

The irony that a university named in honor of the most infamous genocider of the Americas—Columbus—is also ground zero for crushing anti-genocide protests in the twenty-first century should not escape notice.

All the stuff in the news about protests on US universities keeps reminding me that Israel blew up every single university in Gaza, and most of it's schools too.

I have never seen anything like this happen before at Columbia. There is no fear left among students. Organizers were arrested en masse & when I got out of jail, I was told students occupied another lawn on their own. Hundreds are willing to risk arrest. I am so filled with hope.
