Space: "Catching up with Abstract Asia" (06/04/2026)

1. Abstract Asia is gaining momentum
The main focus of the space was Abstract Asia.
The speakers highlighted how the region is growing through local creators, streamers, students, community leaders, and builders. The key point: Asia is not just a side market for Abstract - it is becoming its own ecosystem with its own culture and growth loops.
2. Thailand is a priority market
Thailand was one of the biggest topics.
The team recently spent a week in Bangkok during Southeast Asia Blockchain Week and hosted an event with Bitkub, one of Thailand’s major regulated digital asset platforms.
Around 200 people attended, with discussions around RWAs, digital collectibles, TCGs, and the future of crypto on Abstract.
3. Bitkub makes onboarding easier
The Bitkub chain integration was one of the most important updates.
Before the partnership, Thai users needed around 9–10 steps to move funds into Abstract. Now it is closer to 3 steps.
That makes onboarding much smoother and gives Abstract a stronger entry point into the Thai market.
4. TCG and RWA traction is real
RWA and TCG products were a major theme again.
Shiny volume has been growing, Gacha was described as a top 5 TCG trading platform in crypto, and Dyli was also mentioned as part of the collectibles momentum on Abstract.
The broader takeaway: Asia is responding strongly to real collectible use cases where gaming, trading cards, and digital ownership overlap.
5. Abs TV will amplify creators
The old Abstract Angels account was rebranded into abs TV.
The goal is to highlight creators across regions and make it easier to discover what the community is building.
Planned content includes:
Wednesday: community-built projects
Thursday: creator spotlight
Friday: top clips of the week
6. Discord and local platforms matter
The team also pushed more activity toward Discord, including a special Abstract Asia Friday Funday.
They also made a strong point that Asia cannot be reached only through X. Local platforms, livestreaming, gaming communities, and regional content channels matter a lot.
TL;DR
Abstract Asia is becoming a serious growth engine for the ecosystem.
Thailand is a key focus.
Bitkub reduces onboarding friction.
TCG/RWA products are gaining traction.
Abs TV will help amplify creators.
Discord, livestreaming, and local platforms are becoming major community layers.
Abstract Asia is not just supporting Abstract - it is actively shaping its next phase 💚
