The stabbing of two Jewish men in Golders Green today is deeply shocking and a stark reminder of the very real danger antisemitism poses on our streets.
My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones, and the wider Jewish community.
No one should be targeted because of their faith.

I really really loved this book for its warm familiarity, its top level Holocaust insights, and for making me physically *laugh*, which - is it our times, or just the tragically deadened carapace of my middle-aged soul? - often seems barely possible these days. Read it, gift it.
