Karmelo Anthony’s family is now asking for a public defender for their appeal.
They claim they can’t afford an attorney despite raising over $625,000 and using the money to buy a home in a gated community.
They can take out a loan against their house if they want 🤷♂️

According to his appeal, Karmelo is, “too poor to employ counsel to represent me…”
Karmelo raised $625,000 for his legal battle, but some of those funds were used to help his family “relocate” after allegedly facing threats.
