Taxing Americans on inflation may be the most absurd policy in the tax code and ending it could be Republicans’ strongest affordability argument heading into the election.

Before Election Day, ask one question: Has my candidate signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge? More than 1,400 elected officials and candidates have signed the Pledge. Congressional Democrats who’ve signed? Zero.

Oklahoma House Speaker @kylehilbert says the state’s recent income tax cuts are only the beginning. Oklahoma lowered its top rate from 4.75% to 4.5%, simplified its tax code, and put the state on a path toward 0% income tax. Check out @GroverNorquist's Leave Us Alone podcast for the full interview.

Ending the tax on inflation in capital gains is supported by: The Republican Study Committee (189 Republican members of Congress) in their reconciliation plan. Over thirty conservative/free market organizations. Larry Kudlow. Speaker Gingrich. In a given tax year, 30 million Americans have a capital gains filing. 75% earn less than $200,000

Get it done! 30 million households will get a tax break! x.com/SenTedCruz/status/2044…

We shouldn’t miss this opportunity to go big on budget reconciliation. If we want to do something bold before November, we ought to do it now, or we’ll miss it altogether.

Fun fact: "If somehow absorbed into the United States, British citizens tell pollsters they believe the U.K. would rank among the top ten wealthiest states in the Union. In fact, it would be the poorest."

When timing is tight, the ability to move fast and scale matters. In practice, that means getting something up quickly and turning it into real pressure while there’s still time to act. Speak4 makes that possible. Good breakdown below.

In the spirit of Tax Day, here’s a story about a tax hike that didn't happen. @taxreformer used Speak4 to stop a niche policy issue before it could dent US competitiveness. Here's how they launched a full-scale advocacy campaign in under 24 hours: bit.ly/41DPFiz

Appreciated the invitation and the chance to be back on campus. The students came prepared and asked thoughtful questions. Really fun conversation.

Most people who use AI regularly are still dabbling. They open the chat window, ask a question, read the answer, and move on. The leap to good results is smaller than most think. It mostly comes down to a few habits. Policy and advocacy folks: what's one AI habit that has actually saved you time? buff.ly/Lx00EWV

This path to a not-terrible midterm now seems more plausible: - Some kind of successful resolution on Iran - Trump then goes to the Artemis splashdown - America 250 good vibes - Midterm convention - Actually force Dems to take bad votes on things like deporting criminals

Weird flex by the Huffington Post. Didn’t realize they cared about Catholics.
NEW: The Pentagon today invited more than 3,500 employees to attend a Good Friday service at its in-house chapel. Except it’s only for Protestants, not Catholics. huffpost.com/entry/news-live…

My father and I came up with the idea for what @ESPN became on August 16, 1978 and went on the air just over a year later. It was made possible only with the help of many amazing people and more than a little bit of luck. One of those people was JB Doherty who became an investor, financial advisor, and much more. He brought us to Getty Oil and also provided the seed funding to keep us afloat for months until Getty invested. bit.ly/3QdUoEY A decade before we met him, JB was a war hero who won the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam. @ESPNPR @ESPNFrontRow

President Trump’s No Tax on Overtime provision is already making a difference. ATR (@taxreformer) compiled testimonials from workers seeing it firsthand: “This is for your blue collar guys and tradesmen that are out here working 50 to 60 plus hours.”
"President Donald Trump’s new tax deduction for overtime looks like a hit this filing season." The Working Families Tax Cuts and the "No Tax on Overtime" provision are game changers for hardworking Americans! politico.com/news/2026/03/31…
