We have a new paper out in #MagneticResonanceImaging on correcting biases in quantitative T1 mapping methods for MRI using a patch-based deep learning model! @VandyValiant #MRI #MedicalImaging #DeepLearning #AI

At the recent @vuiis Retreat, @AdamSaunders97 presented "Vasculature-informed spatial smoothing of white matter functional magnetic resonance imaging." This novel method smooths images along the vasculature to unlock insights into brain connectivity. @VanderbiltU

This was an emotional day. After 15 years, closing the doors on the original MASI Lab for the last time. Alumni and friends come back and visit us in our new beautiful space with @VandyValiant. We will have a grand opening later this fall.

So here's a story of, by far, the weirdest bug I've encountered in my CS career. Along with @maciejwolczyk we've been training a neural network that learns how to play NetHack, an old roguelike game, that looks like in the screenshot. Recenlty, something unexpected happened.
