Our week kicked off with @globalfishingwatch and @GGGInitiative. The technology required to police the high seas is complex and challenging. It's clear action is required to stop the 630,000 tonnes of discarded fishing gear entering our ocean.

Last week, I was invited to Halifax at the #oceanyouthconnect ahead of the #G7. Very intense few days. Our goal was to create recommendations on illegal and unreported fishing and discarded lost fishing gear (ghost gear). This week I'm going to sharing my journey and the outcome.
