There isn’t a moment that goes by that my mom’s words and example aren’t guiding me. I will always carry the values that she gave me, which I’ve done my best to pass on to my daughters, too. Happy Mother’s Day. ❤️

Last night, Luna stopped being “just my dog.”She became the reason I’m safe. It was a little after 2 a.m. when I heard something downstairs. At first, I thought I imagined it—half asleep, too tired to think clearly. But Luna heard it too. Her head lifted instantly. Not barking. Not growling. Just listening in that intense, focused way dogs do when they know something isn’t right. Then she stood up and moved in front of me. That’s when I heard it again. The sound of someone trying to force the back door open. My stomach dropped. I froze for a second, but Luna didn’t. The moment footsteps entered the house, she exploded into the loudest bark I’ve ever heard from her. Not playful. Not warning. Protective. She ran straight toward the noise without hesitation. And suddenly, all I heard downstairs was crashing, shouting, and someone scrambling to get out as fast as possible. By the time I called the police, the thief was already gone. And Luna? She came back upstairs shaking. Not because she was aggressive. Not because she was dangerous. Because she was scared too. She climbed right beside me on the bed and pressed herself against my chest while my hands were still trembling. Like after everything, her first concern was making sure I was okay. People judge pitbulls before they even know them. They see the breed before they see the heart. But Luna has never been violent. Never cruel. She’s the dog who cries during thunderstorms, gets excited over peanut butter, and thinks she’s a lap dog despite weighing almost 70 pounds. Last night, she wasn’t protecting the house. She was protecting me. And the truth is, I don’t know what could’ve happened if she hadn’t been there. So while the world keeps debating dogs like her… I’ll just keep looking at the one sleeping peacefully beside me right now, knowing that when I needed her most, Luna didn’t hesitate for a second. She was brave enough for both of us. 🐾❤️ Credit: Victoria Grace

Minnesota has become the gold standard for organized peaceful protest. The reason it’s so successful is because it’s as relentless as the tyranny this regime is attempting to impose. History will remember the communities that would not concede ground to tyranny. 🎥 TikTok - vm.tiktok.com/ZNRDe6mN8/

“Dear ICE agents - I hope you’re respectful to everyone and show kindness… we should treat all people the same, even if we don’t know them.” If this doesn’t shatter your heart you don’t have one. 💔 Our kids are watching. 🇺🇸 nytimes.com/2026/01/31/opini…

She’s such a great talent 💔
Suffering as she did from a life ending illness, she could still sing softly and gracefully. What a life that woman led. She was the Queen of Song💖

This video tells the inspiring story of Bear, a rescue Dog from Cleveland, Texas. He was a stray, shot in the face, and developed a 3.5 lb cancerous mass from lymphoma and carcinoma. Given 3-12 months to live, he underwent surgery and two chemo rounds. With care from This Is Houston rescue, he's now in remission, 27 months later, and just celebrated his 10th birthday. A true fighter! ❤️ 🎦 Credit and thanks to This Is Houston rescue. 🙏

🚨BREAKING: ICE/Border Patrol are now pistol-whipping 16-year-olds and smashing their heads into the curb. In the video, an agent illegally tries to detain an unaccompanied minor, in Long Beach, California. The child has his hands in the air. An agent runs up and hits him in the head with a pistol. Then two agents tackle him and force his head down against the curb. After the child is already on the ground, pinned by two armed adults, another agent brings out a K9, for what reason exactly? Then one agent puts his knee on the child’s neck while another handcuffs him, even though he’s not resisting at all. Unaccompanied minors are supposed to be handled through child-welfare procedures, not slammed into concrete by armed agents. Using a gun as a weapon is deadly force. You don’t get to use deadly force on a child who is standing still with his hands up. And putting a knee on someone’s neck while they’re restrained is a textbook violation of use-of-force rules and basic constitutional rights. ICE/Border Patrol agents are brutalizing people for sport, they are executing people because they can, trafficking children, and if they aren’t stopped no one will be safe.

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack. Thank you to everyone who demanded freedom for Liam. We won’t stop until all children and families are home.
