What does it take to put humans on Mars? 🔴 You need to head to Houston to help answer that.
The 2026 Humans to the Moon and Mars Summit (H2M2) runs July 21 to 23 at Rice University in Houston, Texas, hosted there for the first time. H2M2 gathers leaders from NASA, industry, and academia to work on the hard questions behind our return to the Moon and the future crewed missions to Mars.
One of those questions sits at the heart of ESCAPADE, NASA's twin-spacecraft mission studying the magnetosphere of Mars launched on Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket in November 2025.
The summit's panel includes Dr. Parker, mission design and trajectory optimization lead for ESCAPADE; Dr. Lillis, Principal Investigator of NASA's ESCAPADE twin satellite mission to Mars; and Richard French, Rocket Lab's Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for Space Systems.
