Please don't ask people to support organisations that recruit unpaid counsellors. This is not a safe business model. We now have very little paid work because of volunteering schemes like this one. @UK_Counsellors

@BACP won't say what #SCoPEd contracts they've signed on behalf of counsellors. We're still waiting for @prof_standards to find out and report back to us. @UK_Counsellors

Don't forget that #SCoPEd is still unauthorised by @prof_standards. @BACP and the #SCoPEd partners shouldn't be registering/accrediting services that outsource work to unpaid counsellors. @UK_Counsellors

I'm absolutely heartbroken by this news. Maria was a trailblazer for the working class in this profession, and a wonderful, immensely supportive colleague and friend. I will miss her more than I can say.
