Today, 77 years ago, Soviet authorities deported 20,702 Estonians. Families were torn apart. People sent to Siberia. Many never returned.
It was the largest post-war crime against the Estonian people. The price our nation paid for an unjust peace.
We remember. Not only to look back, but to shape our values and principles for the future.
