Dear @HardeepSPuri ji, at this point, people are genuinely wondering whether you’re still leading the Petroleum Ministry, because it increasingly feels like no one is listening to or taking the Petroleum Minister seriously. A disappointing situation for citizens who expect accountability.

The Govt is shamelessly lying that E20 blended fuel does not harm your vehicles. Proof: Check the instruction manual of vehicles prior to 2023 : it explicitly 𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑯𝑰𝑩𝑰𝑻𝑺 E20! We the people pay lifetime road tax for 15 years in advance GST upto 28% registration even cess in some regions.

Without addressing people's concerns regarding E20, the government has now announced E100, which means 100% ethanol and no petrol. In this video, we explain the key concerns regarding blended fuel that the government seems to be ignoring in its push for rapid ethanol adoption.

#ChhatronKiGoonj

A policy affecting 140 crore people; signed at 8PM, announced at a press conference the next morning. No White Paper. No Parliamentary debate. No public consultation. No independent impact study. Just a minister, a pen, and a family business waiting on the other side. Let’s talk about what this “policy” actually is: → Son Nikhil’s company Cian Agro: ₹18Cr → ₹523Cr revenue in one year → Their stock: ₹37 → ₹638. A 2,184% surge; while “the file” was being drafted → Son Sarang: Director at Manas Agro. Also in ethanol. Also quietly booming. Father writes the regulations. Sons hold the equity. And we’re supposed to call this a “national dream.” In any functioning democracy, a minister with direct family financial interests in a sector CANNOT unilaterally regulate that sector. That’s not politics, that’s a constitutional principle. Where is the Lokpal? Where is the Prime Minister? Where is the Parliament? The dream isn’t about ethanol. The dream is about a country where accountability has been fully, quietly, abolished.

#WATCH | Nagpur, Maharashtra: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari says, “Last night at 8 PM, I signed the file, finalising the regulations to legally authorise the use of 100% ethanol. I am delighted to share that I, along with Hardeep Singh Puri, had the opportunity to launch the 100% ethanol-compatible version of the WagonR—Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling car. Regarding motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp—which accounts for three out of every five motorcycles sold—has launched two flex-fuel models capable of running on 100% ethanol. Following this, companies like Toyota, Suzuki, MG, and Hyundai will launch 100% ethanol-compatible vehicles within the next month and a half. Thus, ethanol will serve as a viable alternative to petrol. People used to laugh when I spoke of this dream, and some friends even criticised it...Soon, we will launch a pilot project in Nagpur featuring a hydrogen pump and two hydrogen-powered buses. The public will be able to ride these hydrogen buses, which will be powered by green hydrogen extracted from water using an electrolyser. That day is now near.”

Why are heavy cement mixers being allowed on the road at such a busy time, causing congestion and inconvenience to commuters? Residents and motorists are demanding accountability and asking whether traffic regulations are being enforced equally. Authorities are urged to investigate the matter and take appropriate action if any violations are found. @MTPHereToHelp @mybmc @cmomaharashtra @mumbaipolice

Incident Date: Friday Dear @tirupatipolice, how can you justify forcing highway travelers to take a separate route via Renigunta, adding another 30 minutes due to traffic, just because of a political meeting? Who exactly gave politicians the right to disrupt public highways and inconvenience thousands of commuters for their events? What makes this worse, the toll near Tirupati still charged the full amount, even though we were diverted through small roads in Renigunta instead of using the actual highway route. Is this how public inconvenience is normalized for political programs, @naralokesh & @ncbn ji? We were stuck in traffic for nearly 30-40 minutes, then rerouted by police onto another congested road, taking another 30-40 minutes just to reconnect to the highway. Reason given: Political meeting. So public time, fuel, and inconvenience mean nothing?
