We're a Palestinian NGO based in Gaza, documenting human rights violations for 25 years and advocating for justice & accountability for the Palestinian people.
🚨 As the genocide in Gaza continues, the US has sanctioned us, @alhaq_org, and @pchrgaza, citing our support & involvement with the ICC's efforts to investigate & arrest Israeli nationals who are responsible for atrocity crimes in Gaza. This attack on our organizations is a direct attack on justice itself. 1/

This attack comes amid the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, the continued obstruction of humanitarian aid, and the shutdown and reduction of relief kitchen operations.

The Nakba Is Ongoing
Israel is Re-engineering Demographics Through #Genocide
Since 1948, Palestinians faced policies of uprooting, forced displacement & settler colonialism, while #Gaza is witnessing a #genocidalWar targeting people, land, and identity.

More than 72,000 Palestinians have been killed, hundreds of thousands injured and displaced, and entire cities destroyed, in an attempt to forcibly reshape the demographic and geographic reality.
The Palestinian’s right to #self_determination is an inalienable right guaranteed under international law. It cannot expire with time, nor can it be undermined by policies of #genocide and demographic engineering imposed by Israeli occupation forces in the #Gaza Strip.
In April, 111 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza including at least 18 children and 7 women.
In Beit Lahiya, incidents included a drone strike that killed 3 boys aged 9 to 14 according to preliminary information, and a shelling of a residential building that killed a mother and her two children, a boy and a 4-year-old girl.
As of the end of April, at least 824 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza since a ceasefire was announced.
“Palestinians have no blueprint for survival: whatever they do or don’t do, wherever they go or don’t go, there is no safety or protection afforded to them. It is hard to square this with a ceasefire,” said High Commissioner Volker Türk in a statement earlier in April.
