Notice how it’s always “the Bible must inform our laws!” until it comes to welcoming the immigrant, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, bringing healthcare to the sick, forgiving debts, caring for our planet, laying down our swords, or loving our neighbors.

Daylight Saving Time is increasingly hard to notice when my digital are devices are like, "What? Nothing happened. We know what time it is." And my stove is left blinking and screaming, "IT HAPPENED! TIME SHIFTED UNNATURALLY! THEY'RE ALL LYING! ONLY I KNOW! ONLY I REMEMBER!"

I offered students extra credit to show up Monday in Electricity & Magnetism related costumes. I had one student who missed Monday and told me today that they were in a magnetic monopole costume Monday during class and that’s why I didn’t see them Monday.

I don't want schools fully funded. I want schools OVER funded. I want school closets overflowing with resources. I want teachers to have extra supplies. I want kids to learn using the newest technology. Budgets show community priorities and it's time we invest in our future.

As a first-gen student, I've always known that other students with legacies in academia or family histories of college education have inherent advantages over me, but I don't think I've ever been able to see and understand that as clearly as today.
