ZNA Graduates 156 Soldiers to Strengthen National Security The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has graduated 156 soldiers who successfully completed the General Squad Drill and Small Arms Course at Headquarters 1 Brigade, reinforcing the military’s commitment to professionalism and operational excellence. The training programme equipped the soldiers with essential military skills, including drill proficiency, weapon handling, discipline, and tactical preparedness. These competencies are critical in enhancing the army’s operational readiness and its ability to respond effectively to security challenges. Speaking at the graduation ceremony, military leaders emphasized the importance of continuous training in building a disciplined and capable force. The programme forms part of the ZNA’s broader strategy to strengthen its human capital and ensure personnel remain prepared to execute their duties with efficiency and professionalism. The graduation comes at a time when the Zimbabwe National Army continues to invest in skills development to maintain a high state of readiness and safeguard national sovereignty. The newly trained soldiers are expected to contribute significantly to peace, stability, and security across the country. By prioritizing training and capacity building, the ZNA is enhancing its ability to fulfil its constitutional mandate while fostering a culture of discipline, competence, and service among its ranks. #ZNA #Zimbabwe #NationalSecurity #Defence #MilitaryTraining

This corroborates the view of a construction boom different from a property price boom @samkebusiness hanti lithe I am spewing propaganda. You guys don’t like stats or have a pulse for where numbers are flowing. I tried to buy cement & there was a 4-6 week for large volumes. We hosted Dangote cement execs a few years ago & they saw it coming. Believe & it’s just the beginning unless we have a “black swan 🦢 “ event!
“In cement, you can’t just think for the next 2-3 years, you need to think for the next 20 years…” 🎥 PPC Africa CEO Matias Cardarelli speaks today on why the company wants to build a new plant in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is an increasingly important market for PPC, with rising cement demand helping offset slower growth in SA and Botswana. In the year to March, PPC Zimbabwe’s sales volumes rose 18%. Volumes were up 25% in the first half. Growth was 12% in the second half, after a gearbox breakdown at the Bulawayo plant slowed sales in the region for two months. Revenue rose 20.5% to US$206 million, and earnings hit a record US$56 million. PPC received US$36 million in dividends from Zimbabwe, up from US$13 million in the previous year, “another record for PPC Zimbabwe.”

When we say the face of football has changed in Zimbabwe, this is exactly what we mean. Hon. Pedzai Sakupwanya's Scottland FC and Kaizer Chiefs have signed a new tournament partnership with [Toyota](toyota.com?utm_source=chatgp…), bringing an exciting new cup competition to the region. This landmark development demonstrates how football is attracting major corporate investment, creating new opportunities for players, clubs, supporters, and the broader economy. The introduction of this new tournament is another sign that Zimbabwean football is entering a new era of growth, professionalism, and international recognition. A new cup is in town, and the future of football looks brighter than ever. ⚽🏆🔥

How Zimbabwe🇿🇼 got China🇨🇳 to pour in a billion dollars into value-added lithium investments Zimbabwe🇿🇼 banned the export of raw lithium and unbeneficiated minerals, resulting in nearly $1 billion in investments for local processing plants. Chinese🇨🇳 companies, particularly Huayou and Sinomine, have led investments and construction of several lithium sulfate processing facilities. The first lithium sulfate shipment from Zimbabwe🇿🇼 was exported in April, marking a milestone as the first such product from both the country and the African continent. Lithium sales surged in 2026, with volumes rising 2% and value increasing 106% year-over-year, highlighting strong global demand and government policy impact.
