Printed customised titanium plates and autotransplanted tissue in jaw cancer reconstruction: where are we going? Was an honour and privilege to be invited to talk at yesterday’s lunchtime symposium alongside @simundo1 (Prof Simon Holmes). Thanks @BAOMSOfficial and @klsmartin

This little combo was crucial in getting me through higher surgical training: just the little boost you need…and it still does the job every time, if I can find them in the hospital shop that is!!

For all early years trainees, as Niall says, get your leave in for a fantastic hands on SORG course in facial trauma, Bristol, 18 & 19 May: great location, great faculty, great opportunity. 👍

Really looking forwards to teaching on the SORG basic principles in Maxillofacial Trauma course on 18-19th May; a really valuable course for early and middle-years trainees, focussing on key principles as well as some more novel and “thinking outside the box” approaches!

After a fab JTG conference, just a takeaway message: BAOMS will support you. We must work within GMC boundaries but we aim to ease the hurdles including core equivalent jobs, the new JT support network and study support for MRCS. So…keep in touch and for updates on JTSN 👋

Another great day, great team…two specialties working as one; regularly delivering world-class major head and neck procedures as standard on the UK South Coast - surgery done the way it should be; cutting edge. #TORS #roboticfreeflap #dynamicfacialreanimation #3dprintedimplants

Fantastic news coming to our junior colleagues who enter their second degree after a few years of professional experience. No longer will the second degree course code impair eligibility for NHS bursary. We on BAOMS council pushed for it and the Health Secretary listened! 👍
