GDOT is spending close over $5 billion on road widening projects NOW on I-285 when instead all of that could’ve funded the Beltline, streetcar expansion, and all of the More MARTA plan for that
This would’ve made everyone’s commute better and reduced car costs
According to Consumer Affairs, Georgia ranks among the most expensive states to own a car, with drivers spending an average of nearly $3,400 a year on insurance, repairs, and fuel.
