🚨 @bing is releasing New AI Visibility Insights in Bing Webmaster Tools: Intents, Topics, Citation Share, Comparison option 👇 * Intents: With the new Intents feature, grounding queries in the AI Performance Report are now classified into broader categories such as Informational, Commercial, Navigational, Learn and Solve, Research, Creation, Local, and more. This should help publishers move beyond simply seeing which queries triggered citations and begin understanding the broader query context our systems associate with those citation appearances. * Seeing Visibility Through Topics Instead of Individual Queries:  Grouping related grounding queries into broader thematic clusters. AI systems reason across concepts and themes rather than isolated keywords. Topics should help publishers understand visibility in the same thematic structure that modern AI systems use to organize information. * Introducing Citation Share : Citation Share shows how much of the citation space your site receives for a specific grounding query. It is calculated as the percentage of citations attributed to your site out of all citations shown across all sites for that same grounding query. This should help publishers understand not just whether they were cited, but how much visibility they received within the full set of cited sources for that query. * Compare Changes Over Time: Allows publishers to overlay a previous time period directly onto the current reporting view. Intents, Topics, Citation Share, and Compare are now beginning to roll out in preview within Bing Webmaster Tools globally today. I unfortunately have terrible news to share. In April I shared about Jenn Bauguess, a fellow SEO who was battling an aggressive form of cancer. I was shocked to learn that Jenn passed away on Thursday in Tucson. I received the call on Saturday explaining what happened, and again, I was shocked to hear the news. We literally just had an email conversation last week talking about SEO, and just a few days later, Jenn is gone. Jenn’s son is just nine and it’s heartbreaking to know he just lost his mom, and so suddenly. I’ll share the details of the service once those arrangements have been made. But thank you to the SEO community for your help and support for Jenn. Her GoFundMe went from $9K to $20K after you all got involved. And that was a huge help for Jenn. Cancer sucks. This all happened so quickly. I’ll share more when I have the details. Amber who set up the GoFundMe posted a message yesterday about Jenn passing away.
