At Alfred Research Alliance we work together to solve the world's greatest health challenges & translate our new thinking into positive impacts for you.
The Alfred is giving patients with super bugs new hope as the first health service in Victoria to begin using a treatment known as phage therapy.
It involves utilising harmless viruses (phages) to kill germs in cases where antibiotics have failed.
