>50 y.o. patient. Testicular mass. No IHC. Morphologic clues: small intermediate large cells, the characteristic chromatin pattern seen in a subset of the larger cells and apoptotic bodies. These tumors are indolent, unless they undergo sarcomatous transformation (very rare).🌰🌰

#PathPitfall, Frozens Edition:
If you're freezing a node for mets and you see squamous cells in lymphoid tissue, knee-jerk response is: met SCC!
BUT don't forget the thymus! Foci of ectopic thymic tissue may be present throughout neck, mediastinum and be sampled as "lymph node"
