A Message to the Arab GCV Community Dear Arab GCV Leaders and Pioneers, Today, we have reached another meaningful milestone together. Education and ecosystem development are the two fundamental pillars that will determine the long-term success of the Pi Network. Without education, there can be no strong consensus. Without a thriving ecosystem, there can be no sustainable value. GCV Ambassador & Special Envoy Responsibilities, Evaluation, and Resignation Policy Dear Global GCV Ambassadors & Special Envoys and Pioneers, Following the official resignation of Mr. Trésor KASIREKA as GCV Head Ambassador for Central Africa, the Global GCV Core Team would like to clarify the responsibilities and expectations of all GCV Ambassadors and Special Envoys. Commitment and Responsibility Every GCV Ambassador and Special Envoy voluntarily applies for the position after reading our Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Commitment Letter. By accepting the appointment, each individual agrees to: Follow the education, guidance, and strategies of the Global GCV Core Team. Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities. Actively contribute to GCV education and ecosystem development. Maintain communication with the Global GCV Core Team. This commitment is voluntary. We respect every community leader and never force anyone to adopt our strategy or join our organization. Why We Have a Commitment Letter The Global GCV Core Team has a clear mission and vision to support the success of the Pi Network through education, ecosystem development, and community cooperation. To work effectively as one team, all appointed GCV Ambassadors must share this common vision. The commitment letter ensures mutual understanding and mutual respect between the organization and every ambassador. GCV Titles Are Responsibilities, Not Privileges A GCV Ambassador or Special Envoy title is not granted for power, fame, influence, or personal status. It represents responsibility, service, credibility, and commitment to the pioneer community. These titles are recognized within the GCV community as a symbol of trust and dedication. Evaluation and Certificate Revocation Every GCV Ambassador will be evaluated periodically. If an ambassador or special envoy: Remains inactive for three consecutive months without an officially approved leave, Does not respond to communications from the Global GCV Core Team, Fails to perform assigned responsibilities, or No longer wishes to follow the agreed guidance and strategy, their certificate may be revoked so that another committed ambassador or special envoy can continue serving the community. Before any revocation, we always provide opportunities for communication and confirmation. If there is no response and no meaningful activity, we must proceed with the evaluation process. Respect for Different Communities We fully respect different GCV strategies, different Pi community organizations, and different ecosystem initiatives. No community leader is required to follow the Global GCV Core Team. However, once an individual voluntarily applies for and accepts a GCV Ambassador or Special Envoy certificate, they have agreed to follow our education, guidance, and responsibilities. If they no longer wish to do so, resignation is welcomed and appreciated. This allows us to appoint another qualified ambassador who is ready to serve. Professional Conduct We encourage respectful communication and professionalism. Disagreements should be handled with dignity and mutual respect rather than personal attacks or defamation. Our objective is not personal authority but effective organization and productive teamwork. Effective Immediately All GCV Ambassadors and Special Envoys who are unable to perform their responsibilities or who no longer wish to follow the Global GCV Core Team's guidance are requested to submit an official resignation. This benefits both the individual and the community by providing clarity, accountability, and opportunities for new leaders to serve. 🦣🦣🦣PI NETWORK NEWS: Pi Launchpad Releases Improved Participation Flow and Updated Model, Along with Second Test Token on Testnet Pi Launchpad has updated its participation flow and model, incorporating data and feedback from the first Testnet token (IRRA) that launched on Pi Day 2026. The purpose of the test token launches is to introduce Pioneers to the new ecosystem token mechanics and to educate the community on how to participate in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) mechanisms, while collecting insightful data and Pioneer feedback to help improve and refine the Launchpad design and mechanics for the Mainnet version. During the first Launchpad test token (minepi.com/blog/pi-launchpad…), over 478,000 participating Pioneers staked a total of 36.05 million Test-Pi, over 198,000 Pioneers committed 14.72 million Test-Pi, and 11.71 million of the committed Test-Pi applied toward token acquisition for 10 million IRRA tokens. These results provided useful data and highlighted areas where the Launchpad experience needed improvement. A few of the findings are as follows: ▪️ Some Pioneers found it difficult to understand the relationship between, and the effect of, staking and committing. ▪️The order of the staking and committing actions created drop-offs: some users staked Test-Pi but did not proceed to commit Test-Pi, or did not commit enough relative to their stake, to actually participate in the token acquisition process. ▪️The first launch introduced too many moving parts and complexity around staking, committing, and how the two interact, making it harder for some users to decide how to allocate their intended participation amount. A second Testnet token, SLICE, has been released to test these improvements, including through updates to the user interface, user experience, and the Launchpad mechanism. And, unlike the first test, SLICE is connected to a real working app, Slice of Pi, rather than a demo, enabling Pi to collect genuine engagement data that can better inform the Launchpad design ahead of a Mainnet version. Note that SLICE is a Testnet token and will never go onto Mainnet. A Simpler, Clearer Participation Flow In the first test token launch, staking and committing were separate steps on separate screens. Pioneers had to manually enter a stake amount, then separately enter a commitment amount, while also understanding how the two actions affected their participation. To improve upon this, participation in the second test token is centered around the commitment amount, which has the direct effect on token acquisition. A Pioneer first chooses how much Test-Pi they want to commit, either through quick-select options or by entering a custom amount. The Launchpad then automatically calculates the related “fair-access hold” based on a fixed formula, previously referred to as the stake or PiPower, and shows the commitment amount, the hold amount, and the total together before confirmation. Both transactions are then submitted in sequence from a single screen. The fair-access hold is designed to support broader token distribution and help reduce the chance of whales crowding out participants with smaller commitment amounts. The required hold scales progressively with the amount a Pioneer chooses to commit: larger commitments require proportionally larger holds, which helps preserve access for participants with smaller intended commitments. The term “hold” also reflects the temporary nature of the mechanism: the fair-access hold is not a purchase of the issuing project’s token, and the held Pi remains the participating Pioneer’s Pi and is returned after the hold duration. The Launchpad model has also been updated. Instead of being fully dynamic based on participant behavior, the ratio between the hold and commit follows a deterministic curve. This is meant to reduce the number of moving parts, simplify how hold and commit interact, and preserve the intended fair-access effect of the hold. Additional updates include engagement benefits being framed as a percentage bonus on the tokens a Pioneer receives, rather than as a discount on the token price, for clarity. The “detail view” is also now a single scrollable screen instead of a hub with three separate action pages. Together, these changes are intended to make the Launchpad easier to follow, especially for Pioneers who are learning these mechanics for the first time. Thus, there needs to be a second test token launch to test these new updates and assess if they achieve the goal. How to Participate in the Second Test Token Launch Pioneers are encouraged to try the SLICE test token in Pi Launchpad, engage with the Slice of Pi app, review the updated participation flow, and share feedback to help improve the Launchpad mechanism. SLICE is connected to Slice of Pi (5.), a Pi-integrated third-party game that demonstrates Pi’s gaming utility through Pi payments and the Pi Ad Network. This connection lets Pi Launchpad test engagement input from a working app, helping inform how product engagement may affect token launch participation. Pioneers can engage with a real product, understand its utility, and participate in a test launch tied to that product experience, reinforcing the product-first purpose of ecosystem tokens. The SLICE test token launch will be open for participation until Pi2Day, June 28, 2026. Here’s how to participate: 1. Open the Pi Browser and go to the Pi Launchpad app.(minepi.com/pi-browser/) 2. Review the test token and the issuing project. 3. Choose a commitment amount in Test-Pi. The Launchpad will automatically calculate the related fair-access hold and show the commitment, hold, and total before you confirm. 4.After reviewing the details, complete the payment flow to confirm your participation. 5. Engage with the Slice of Pi app. Your engagement helps you assess whether the product is useful and worth your participation in its token launch, while also helping the project gather user feedback and validate its use case. Based on your engagement, you may qualify to receive a percentage bonus on the SLICE tokens you receive. (See the image below.) Like the first test token, the SLICE token is only on Testnet and will never go on Mainnet. It is intended for Pioneers to learn how the Launchpad works in a safe environment while Pi gathers data and community feedback to help improve the launchpad product before a real Mainnet token launch. Reminder: What are Pi Ecosystem Tokens? Ecosystem tokens launched on Pi Launchpad are designed for user acquisition and product utility, rather than serving primarily to raise capital. In this model, projects issue tokens as tools to acquire users for their applications and integrate those tokens directly into the product’s functionality, such as enabling access, payments, rewards, and governance within the app. Instead of being taken by the issuing project, the proceeds of Pi from the launch of their tokens will go to a liquidity pool with the ecosystem token which bootstraps a healthy liquidity foundation from the start. For projects, ecosystem tokens become a mechanism to attract real users, gather feedback, and validate and iterate their product. Businesses can expose their innovative products to Pi’s large global user base that includes both crypto-native users and mainstream audiences, many of whom are identity-verified. From the Pioneer perspective, Pi Launchpad provides transparent and meritocratic access to these tokens. Pioneers can choose to participate in different projects, access their tokens through launch mechanisms, and then use those tokens within the products themselves. The Launchpad mechanism also supports the progress of decentralized exchange (DEX) activity within the Pi ecosystem. While the Pi DEX currently exists on Testnet, a healthy exchange environment depends on the availability of legitimate tokens with substantive utility and liquidity. GCV Ambassador Accountability and Reorganization Notice A strong organization cannot succeed without clear rules, shared values, and accountability. Without standards, there is no common mission or vision, and without commitment, there is no lasting productivity. The GCV Ambassador Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct are the foundation of our community. Only by respecting these principles and fulfilling our commitments can we build trust, credibility, and long-term confidence among pioneers. Pioneers place great trust in every GCV Ambassador. It is our responsibility to protect that trust, as well as the reputation and integrity of the GCV movement. Being a GCV Ambassador is not simply a title—it is a responsibility, a commitment, and a service to the community. Therefore, any GCV Ambassador who disregards the Code of Ethics, fails to honor their commitment, or does not perform their assigned responsibilities may have their ambassador status revoked after evaluation. We respect every ambassador's personal choice and decision. If you are unable or unwilling to carry out your duties, we encourage you to submit a resignation letter to your Regional Head of GCV Ambassador or directly to Ms. Lumari so that the position can be filled by someone who is ready to serve. As part of the ongoing reorganization of the Africa and Arab GCV Ambassador teams, we are beginning the process of reviewing, revoking, and appointing ambassadors where necessary. Existing GCV Ambassadors will receive priority consideration for higher-level ambassador positions based on their performance and contributions. Students who have demonstrated excellence in the GCV Leadership School will also receive priority consideration for ambassador appointments. The GCV Ambassador title is not a lifetime appointment. GCV Community Eduction Series #55 KEEP YOUR MISSION, CULTIVATE YOUR VIRTUES Dear Global Pioneers, I hope everyone is doing well. I have been busy with the reorganization of the Africa and Arab GCV teams these past few days, so I haven't had much time to write articles. Today, I would like to share some important thoughts because I have noticed that many pioneers and community leaders have developed misunderstandings about Pi Network and our mission. 1. Do Not Confuse CBDCs with Pi Network Although both are called digital currencies, they are fundamentally different. CBDCs are government-issued digital versions of fiat currency. Pi Network is a grassroots digital currency built by a global community and not issued by any government. I see many pioneers spending a great deal of time researching CBDC policies. My message is simple: our success is not determined by any country's CBDC development. Our future depends on pioneers, ecosystem building, and real-world adoption. 2. Do Not Confuse Traditional Cryptocurrencies with Pi Network Pi is a cryptocurrency, but its vision is different from traditional cryptocurrencies. Pi Network was created to make digital currency more inclusive and useful in everyday life, focusing on participation, utility, and community instead of speculation alone. So all current cryptocurrency regulations is for traditional cryptocurrency which is speculation purpose. Pi Network has been designed for utility usage purpose. 3. Never Forget Why We Are Here Some community leaders have forgotten their original mission. Our purpose is the success of Pi Network, not personal power or personal fame. If we cannot focus on meaningful work that helps Pi succeed, then titles and recognition have little value. Pi Network is meant to help pioneers improve their real lives, so we should unite instead of divide. The Story of the Two-Headed Bird There is an old story about a two-headed bird sharing one body. When one head attacks the other, both eventually suffer and die together because they share the same head. Likewise, when you attack sincere GCV warriors or damage the reputation of those working for the community, you are ultimately harming your own future. That means your financial hardship will keep longer or endless waiting. Tolerance and Responsibility People have different educational backgrounds and cultures. We should tolerate mistakes, forgive others, and forgive ourselves. But tolerance does not mean allowing misleading information to spread. When we discover information that could harm the community, it is our responsibility to issue warnings and provide education for the benefit of all pioneers. We Choose Peace We will never retaliate against attacks, insults, or slander. We do not require everyone to respect us, and we will never lose confidence because of criticism. Kindness is our Noah's Ark The Red Horse Year and a Time of Restart According to many traditional cultural and spiritual perspectives, 2026, the Red Horse Year represents powerful transformation, rapid change, and the clearing away of old patterns. From this June and the period ahead may bring different kinds of challenges and disasters around the world. This does not mean that the world will be destroyed. Instead, I see it as a period of restart—a time when old systems are tested and new opportunities emerge. Just as nature moves through cycles, human society also experiences periods of change and renewal. During this period, I encourage every pioneer to keep a kind heart and live with gratitude toward the universe, family, friends, and even those who have hurt us. Why? Because only kindness, gratitude, and compassion give us the strength to face uncertainty and disaster with wisdom and peace. Hatred, jealousy, and constant attacks on others only create suffering within ourselves and prevent us from growing and safety during times of transformation and disaster as per sages education. Cultivating Good Virtues Our lives are short. Instead of complaining about others, we should spend more time reflecting on ourselves. Every good thought, every kind action, and every honest effort builds our virtues and improves our character. And this is the real and only one Noah's Ark to protect us. When we choose negativity, anger, or jealousy, we waste the opportunity to become better people and push ourselves to misfortune and disaster. Therefore, let us cultivate patience, humility, compassion, and gratitude every day during the hard times. Even when our journey eventually comes to an end, we can leave this world peacefully, knowing we have lived with integrity and kindness. Our Shared Mission Pi Network is our mission and a gift that we are building for ourselves and for the next generation. Every effort you make is ultimately an investment in your own future and accumulate your virtues and your will be blessed and your spirit will in higher energy level. It is prepared. It is structured. It is aligned. There is an ancient principle: Good timing. Good structure/Environment. Unity of people. When these three are aligned, success becomes inevitable. 1️⃣ Before Full Open Mainnet — One Mission Before launching the Open Mainnet, our responsibility is clear: We must ensure 100% success for Pi Network. Not 50%. Not “maybe.” Not “let’s see.” One hundred percent. That’s why what PCT and GCT are doing now is essentially the same mission. PCT focuses on technology, infrastructure, and system stability. GCT focuses on consensus, education, and ecosystem alignment. Different roles. Same direction. Because before expansion, structure must be solid. Before visibility, the foundation must be stable.
