“We believe in native development in DeFi.” @reidlikeabook said this at @ethconf on a panel moderated by @TrustlessState, @Bankless and it’s the right framing. DeFi won’t win by copying old finance with crypto rails. It wins when products are built for onchain behavior from day one: transparent, programmable, and actually usable.

In 12 months the payment rail should be invisible. Agents handle it. Users never think about it. That is when the infrastructure has done its job. Rishin Sharma (@_rishinsharma), Philip Decker (@philip0x), Markus Franke (@MarkusMento), and Alice Shikova (@alicesh15), moderated by Petr Hluze (@PetrHluze), on payment rail selection for agentic commerce:

Agent commerce won’t start at checkout. Products need to be readable, comparable, permissioned, and usable by agents through APIs long before payment happens. That was the angle I brought to @AgenticSummit in NYC. A great panel with @PetrHluze, @_rishinsharma, @philip0x and @MentoLabs.

Speaking at @AgenticSummit NYC on payment rails for agent commerce. The question I'd bring up is about agentic infrastructure. Agentic payments need boring infrastructure before they feel safe. can the agent understand the product? access it through an API? pay for it clearly? operate within limits? leave an audit trail? In finance, UX is also the API, pricing page, permission model, and receipt. On the panel with @PetrHluze, @_rishinsharma , @philip0x and @MentoLabs .

The more AI-generated the internet becomes, the more valuable human GTM gets. IRL trust, community, founder conversations, those are the parts competitors can’t fake at scale. @dylandewdney and @kuvilabs right here ⤵️

Attribution is not just a dashboard problem. It’s a GTM design problem. AI companies need to measure the moments that create trust, not just the easiest clicks. Where to keep your focus - the best insights from @evggx and @DisenceOfficial

AI agents won’t replace GTM. They make bad GTM louder. The winners will automate execution, not positioning, proof, or trust. @0G_labs and @vargs_g will always keep the human creativity. Will you?

Most AI companies still haven’t figured out pricing. I asked @narek_gevorgyan, CEO of @CoinStats, how they think about monetizing CoinStats AI: subscription, credits, add-ons, or hybrid. His answer: AI pricing is still an open question. Usage-based pricing makes sense until one prompt turns into hours of compute. Video below 👇

Curious how other founders/operators think about this: when should AI products move from simple subscriptions to credits or usage-based pricing?

Most AI/Web3 teams price too late. Pricing is not the last slide in your GTM deck. It should shape what you build, which user you prioritize, and what you refuse to give away. Watch more > (from @ETHCC)

Pricing is not the # you add after the product is built. For AI web3 founders, it is a product decision, a GTM wedge, and soon, an agent-native protocol layer. Full @EthCC talk: youtu.be/EhBNV-6ilAc

"The trap nobody talks about: 20% of your features drive 80% of willingness to pay." Founders ship that 20% for free as MVP, then can't monetize the rest because it's all "nice to have." Talked to @evggx, an expert in KOL marketing at @DisenceOfficial, about AI pricing models for @EthCC.
