How @join_ef now works: 1. We find you in Europe, India or the US. 2. We select you based on your founder potential. 3. You join one of our programmes in London, Paris, Bangalore or SF. 4. If not already in SF, we help you re-locate to San Francisco to raise your seed round

The pace of San Francisco is something you have to experience to understand. Two weeks from first conversation to signed contract. That's why we're here. Where are you building from?
Everyone talks about how fast fundraising moves in San Francisco. But the customer speed can be just as transformative. @E_Molimpakis met a US customer at a conference. They came up to the @thymia booth, asked about their work on diabetes through voice, and wanted to explore a partnership. Two weeks later, the contract was signed. For founders, pace is often set by the customers they serve. Fast-moving customers force you to move faster. That’s one of the reasons we immerse founders in San Francisco: to experience that velocity firsthand. Full Waymo conversation with Emilia in the first comment.

At @CallosumAI we are aggressively scaling up hiring, in our London office 🇬🇧 We are building a more pluralistic vision of AI: co-evolving diverse chips and new architectures for the next generation of intelligence, that is economically viable at scale. We've opened roles across our inference engineering and heterogeneous infra teams. We want the most ambitious & exceptional people to join us. If you want to do the work of your life, would love to talk! 👇

When we first met Jean and Patricia, @BubbleRobotics did not exist. Jean was in Milan, Patty was in Zurich. They did not know each other yet, but they were both looking for the same thing: a cofounder to build a deeply technical, ambitious company with. In October 2024, they joined EF. They met at our kick-off weekend and teamed up immediately. A few weeks later, after exploring multiple ideas in agriculture and recycling, they landed on the ocean. That became Bubble Robotics: autonomous robotic systems that can stay at sea, inspect offshore infrastructure, monitor critical assets, and collect underwater data continuously. From ideation at EF, to San Francisco, to building their first robot in a pool, to raising a $5M pre-seed round, it has been incredible to watch the pace of this team. Proud to have backed Jean and Patty from the very beginning.

Delighted to be backing @inherent_labs - an incredible team working on an important mission
We’re excited to introduce Inherent, a lab designed from scratch to build AI agents that discover new knowledge. The coming era of machine-driven scientific inquiry demands a new kind of research institution and a new kind of AI. To achieve our mission, we live within the experiment, recursively self-improving the entire research organisation. We investigate questions including: - What does ‘AI taste’ look like in the sciences, and how can we build an institution that embraces this new aesthetic of discovery? - What new kinds of human-machine teaming will make the most of AI that can truly innovate? - How can we build recursive self-improvement at the collective level that continually increases human agency over outcomes? We have just closed a $50m seed round led by @IndexVentures and @radicalvcfund, with participation from other outstanding investors including NVentures (@nvidia's venture capital arm), @buildexante, Metaplanet, Macroscopic, @MythosVentures, Charlie Songhurst, @chalfs, @jluan, @dwarkesh_sp, @Thom_Wolf, @j_foerst and @maxjaderberg. We are advised by @matthewclifford. Inherent is a Public Benefit Corporation headquartered in London.

Amazing news! Congrats @billclerico
The world is getting warmer while our infrastructure gets older: a recipe for disasters. We’re excited to announce Fund II: $85M for early stage investments in disaster resilience.

from 0 to raising millions in MONTHS that's what @jointhebridge does to founders all you need is an idea & the belief it'll work what are you building?
Davis AI came out of stealth last week with a $5.5M pre-seed led by Heartcore and Balderton. Part of our first cohort. Mehdi and Amine are compressing real estate development from months to days. Just getting started !

Helicon is building autonomous factories to mass produce carbon fiber parts for unmanned systems. Their platform, Argos, runs the full composite engineering loop automatically, connecting DFM, mold design, simulation, quoting, manufacturing, and quality inspection into one system. It turns composite production from a manual, artisanal process into a scalable one, collapsing lead times and unlocking the industrialization of composites. Their mission: accelerate the world's transition to advanced materials. Meet @alexnhaus and Edmundo

This is a great profile of @join_ef (and the brilliant @AliceBentinck) that really brings the magic and the mission to life: what happens when you remove the barriers to the world’s most ambitious people becoming founders?

Introducing Agnost AI. The first infrastructure that lets your AI agents learn from every user. It catches every raw intent, connects it back to what your agent did wrong, and improves the agent. Autonomously. Because with AI agents, there's no complaint, just churn.

Last year, 10% of @join_EF's seed rounds were led by Founders Fund, Benchmark, Index, or Khosla. Want to meet the next generation of break out companies? Check out the link in the comments.
