Forssmann was just 25 years old when he made history.
As an intern at a small hospital near Berlin, he had an idea: what if doctors could access the heart without surgery?
It sounded impossible and his superiors dismissed him outright.

I am excited to share our latest study published @JACCJournals Adv. We found that meeting guideline-recommended physical activity (PA) levels—whether as a “weekend warrior” or via regular activity—is linked to lower visceral and pericardial fat.
