I'm at a hearing about the East Palestine derailment led by Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Doug Mastriano of the Veteran Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee. Mastriano started off the hearing by calling out the CEO of Norfolk Southern for not showing up.

Stopped by the site of the derailment and there’s definitely a chemical smell there. People are in their homes right next to it. The Ohio EPA says the air here is safe.
