Last night, Russia launched another drone attack on the civilian population of Zaporizhzhia. One person is confirmed dead. Seven others are injured. A three-story residential building was engulfed in flames, with the fires spreading across 800 square meters. As rescuers battled the blaze, they were repeatedly forced to take shelter because of the continued threat of Russian attacks. The fire was finally extinguished in the early morning hours. Homes, civilian infrastructure, and vehicles were also damaged across several districts of the city.

3 people have been killed after Russians targeted pedestrians in Nikopol with an FPV drone. ​Attack killed an 87-year-old woman and her 51-year-old son. Police are still identifying the 3rd victim. First-person view (FPV) drones allow real-time control and vision, meaning the operators saw perfectly well that they were killing an elderly woman in a wheelchair. Doing it was their conscious choice!

"The world does not hate russia enough" - this is a phrase one can hear and read today in many countries and in many corners of the global internet. Do we, Ukrainians, have the strength to continue hating them as intensely as is necessary? Sometimes it feels, and, in fact, it is-that they hate themselves. russia positions itself as a deeply religious, primordial Christian nation that honors the Bible and quotes the commandment, "Love thy neighbor." Yet in reality, it destroys churches and kills those very neighbors, forcing people to hide either underground or in the cramped rooms of their own homes. The russians have long made it clear to the rest of the world who they are and how to deal with them.

...I just want to remind the world that my country is not always how you see Ukraine most of the time, like the first 7 seconds of this video, with fresh or scarred wounds from a long war. There is good here too, despite what is happening, despite the efforts of the russians to ruin, destroy, break, and annihilate everything. Life here existed and will continue to exist, with tears of joy and despair. With bursts of swearing due to the emotions of what is happening, and words of warmth and hope. With bright, sunny days and blue skies, even though at night the sky flashed from yet another russian night attack. With the smiles of people enjoying the beauty of what can be done, enjoyed, and seen in broad daylight in our hearts and our cities.
