Bringing this back (thanks to @NycStormChaser!) as I'm already starting to see homemade aurora view line maps surface.
DO NOT RELY ON AURORA VIEW MAPS TO DETERMINE WHERE YOU MAY OR MAY NOT SEE AURORA WHEN THE SOLAR STORM HAS NOT EVEN ARRIVED YET.
Hockey is Family ♥️
Today is going to be an emotional one as our captain skates back into the same barn he grew up visiting with his pops. And as a community, we want him to feel every bit of love and support we can send his way.
I’m joining others in donating $9 to one of the organizations Keller supports, with the memo “Bryan Keller.”
Utah, let’s make this meaningful. For every Mammoth goal tonight, I challenge you to donate another $9.
To the entire Keller family, you are not alone in your grief. Utah loves you. This hockey community loves you. And I’m so grateful to be a part of it.

I went on a school tour today & came across some artwork in a hallway that caught my eye (I didn’t take a picture because I didn’t want to be weird 😆). But it was a turkey disguise— where you draw a costume on top of a turkey. The kid drew a @utahmammoth jersey on the turkey.
Anyway, it made me smile— just like when I saw Utah kids dressing up as @utahmammoth players for Halloween a few weeks ago.
Because I grew up in a hockey family. We’d watch practices, go to signings, played street/hall/ice hockey, often in jerseys.. we were all in on the Blues!
And seeing a Utah kid doing something as simple as drawing @utahmammoth jersey on their Thanksgiving turkey art project made me smile knowing that Utah kids are growing up with their own local NHL team to root for.
So excited to raise our kids as Mammoth fans in Salt Lake City!
One of the strangest things about watching #UtahHC road games is the near silence when we score since we are a new franchise and don’t have a big fanbase across the country yet. 😅
The aurora is indeed visible in parts of Utah! These photos were taken in Hanksville by one of our forecasters. Are you able to spot it where you are? #utwx
