A CME was published in @JAADjournals on health disparities in dermatology. There were some appalling claims that are inconsistent with established academic literature on health disparities. I think it's important that dermatologists speak up. jaad.org/issue/S0190-9622(21…

Incentive for admin is happy retained staff who don’t have to wonder if they are paid less than colleagues!

Real talk, as a residency APD, I debated whether I should comment. I don’t have these problems in my current role, so maybe I should stay quiet.
But I read the entire court doc and cried. Cuz as a Black woman in academia, I am Dr. Dennar.
