Would you rather dump 100k into the market next year or have a guaranteed 4.5% return ona 1 year CD. What are the odds the market yields higher than 4.5% next year?

You never know what the market’s going to do. June 15… the S&P 500 gained 1.5% June 28… the S&P 500 dropped 2%. Today… the S&P 500 gained 2.6%. Ignore the noise and buy shares every pay day.

If you don't come from money, understand it'll likely take you 10-20 years of focused work/investing to become a millionaire Many don't make it because they don't want to be the one to "sacrifice" their years for the family unit Takes a different mother f'er to be the first

None of the rich people I know ($12 million NW under age 50) got rich investing in index funds. They got rich from a great career, real estate, making concentrated bets, or starting a business. Why do we talk about index fund/ETF investing so much? Do we just want slow & easy?

When I found out my wife was pregnant, I started a 529. My daughter’s account is already worth $5,400. And in 18 yrs she will have $160,000 in her account. What would happen if I waited? //THREAD//

2/ Don't Procrastinate There was a $77,000 penalty for waiting 6 years. I'm glad I started early. And I recommend you do the same. Dollar cost average every month and let compound interest do the heavy lifting.
