Inspiring inputs, heated discussions, fruitful exchange and excursions to the beautiful Valais in and around #BrigGlis – we look back on exciting days of the #AlpWeek2022.
ALT Around 130 people took part in the 12 workshops on different topics: from climate change and migration to energy efficiency, water integration in cities, sustainable tourism and mountain farming.
ALT Excursion to explore the traditional Valais agricultural landscapes in Brig-Glis
ALT The participants of the excursion saw the effects of climate change on the landscape, flora, fauna and people of the region on and around the Aletsch glacier.

Yesterday, the town of #BrigGlis invited around 80 guests to the historic Stockalper Castle for the ceremonial opening of the #AlpWeek. Afterwards, a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the #ViaAlpina long-distance hiking trail took place at the ZeughausKultur.
