Did you know, a train ticket does not guarantee you a seat, it guarantee's you a journey. Of course, the Regulation of Railways Act 1889, is a long read. Sorry Standing for a journey does not trigger a refund. Letting y'all know.

@GWRHelp I paid £92 for my train ticket and I have to travel standing the whole journey because the train has 5 carriages instead of 9, on peak hour from Oxford to London Paddington at 7.31. And all we got is an apology of the manager/host over the speaker. #awfulservicegwr

2/2 vagueness gives wiggle room, we get that. However, we feel a 6 month membership fee refund would be fair and would prevent the situation escalating into a media story. The poor kids, imagine the picture and news headline!

Thanks for your mention Sara. You are a true friend, to your friend. @TheRAC_UK we have considered this case and the three kids element leaves us greatly concerned. Your own website says you "aim" for 60min response time which we appreciate is deliberately vague 1/2
Wow @TheRAC_UK, my friend pays the princely sum of £30/month. 7 hours with 3 kids in the car waiting for recovery. Finally told can leave the car and go home as it was 10pm. 18 hours later, still no recovery! What?!

Do not use @JustEatUK . I got cold food and they refuse to refund me. Disgusting customer service.

#CASE1 @adamdriver85 felt he was due a train ticket refund for not having reliable wifi on a @CrossCountryUK journey. The @AltCustServ reviewed the case and we ruled in favour of Cross Country UK: Adam was chancing his arm. No refund was granted.
