Threatened ‘The Kid’ with arrest tonight, after she played up when I was in an online meeting, with the actual police. (I know, I know, we shouldn’t threaten this - the police are here to help!👮🏻) Her response - “I can’t even be arrested at my age anyway.” Helpppppp. 😫🤦🏻‍♀️

Hands down, my absolute worst decision of the summer holidays - the pedal monorail thing at Gulliver’s. F.M.L. Genuinely thought I was going to pass out!! Fun day though! 🎢❤️

Spent the day playing in the woods, along with more outdoorsy stuff. Never would I ever have thought I’d be camping, a few years back! Tonight, I managed to set up the projector and watch an actual thing on it. Maybe we’ll end up living in a tent, if the move doesn’t happen!🏕️💅🏼

Feel like a massive failure tonight! 😫 Fell asleep after work and left the kid to fend for herself… We missed our daily walk and now she doesn’t want me to put her to bed… Poor bub! Think I’m a bit burnt out and in need of a holiday! Mum guilt. 😔

I can’t emphasise enough, just how phenomenal this show is! It tackles a serious reality which we’re currently facing, around serious violence (amongst young people) while showcasing a nostalgic take on growing up in #Luton. There are still tickets left for tonight! #chaos

Kid’s still awake and watching the election debate. This would generally send a child to sleep. Not Poppy though. No. She’s fully engaged in the debate and is probably more in touch with reality, than some politicians. Proud to be raising the next generation of leadership! 🤦🏻‍♀️🥰💅🏼
