Waiting lists are falling. Ambulances are arriving faster. Patient satisfaction with access to GPs is up. There’s far more to do - but Labour is getting the NHS back on its feet.

NEW: For too long, patients were promised change in the NHS but saw little of it. Today, waiting lists are down by more than 312,000 since Labour came into government - with an 86,000 drop in November alone. That's the second biggest drop in 15 years. 🧵

Today I proudly attended a commemorative service at the WWII Memorial in Guildhall Square marking 85 years since Portsmouth came under enemy bombing. I’m personally grateful as my great grandad was killed in the Pompey Blitz in Dec 1940. Their names will never be forgotten.
