Toronto also performed strongly, placing No. 3 just behind Seattle.

BC Place is all set for the #FIFA World Cup 2026. The turf was grown in the Fraser Valley, and the stadium has a net seating capacity of 51,000. Around 200 seats were removed to create approx 500 media positions for the World Cup coverage.
Sports Illustrated's ranked Vancouver number one of the 16 cities hosting the World Cup.
The BC Place site (where 7 games will be played) gives Vancouver an edge over places with stadiums located outside the downtown core.
Toronto ranked third with San Francisco in last place.
