Two suspected traffickers arrested in Kindu, Maniema, with 131 kg of elephant ivory seized—representing several elephants killed. One suspect is a lawyer registered at the local bar. The operation was led by the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the @PNC and @IccnRdc supported by intelligence from @ConservC . This case is linked to a wider trafficking network operating between Kindu, Kisangani, and Kinshasa, where nearly 1 ton of pangolin scales was seized weeks ago. Wildlife crime is organized crime.
