Two suspected traffickers arrested in Kindu, Maniema, with 131 kg of elephant ivory seized—representing several elephants killed. One suspect is a lawyer registered at the local bar.
The operation was led by the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the @PNC and @IccnRdc supported by intelligence from @ConservC .
This case is linked to a wider trafficking network operating between Kindu, Kisangani, and Kinshasa, where nearly 1 ton of pangolin scales was seized weeks ago.

With the Police of the Court of Matete, @ConservC@IccnRdc supported the arrest of 2 suspected traffickers and the seizure of 1,054 kg of pangolin scales and a lion skull intended for international trade.
This represents the killing of 2,500–3,000 pangolins - a devastating blow
