On a organisé une session de capacitation sur les procédures financières au bureau de Goma, du 27/29 janvier au bénéfice de son personnel financier grace au partenariat WCP/ALINEA, dans le cadre du Projet SIDA pour reinforcer ses capacitates.

A big win #CITESCoP20: the golden-bellied mangabey has been uplisted to Appendix I.
For us at @ConservC , it’s protection for a species we rescue from traffickers far too often.
Now we need the infrastructure to match the commitment @Amini16 @IFAWUK @pasaprimates @Primatesnft

Pangolin traffickers in DRC are using electrical testers on live pangolins, claiming the light means “spiritual power.”
In truth, it’s science -all living beings conduct small electric currents.
This myth is fueling poaching & trafficking.

Since 2023, Conserv Congo tracked a network between Butembo & Beni (DRC). A trafficker was found with ~50kg ivory (~$6,750). Arrest made by @Ugandawildlife with @ConservC & @IFAW support @IccnRdc @Amini16 @ElephantCrisis @StateINL
